At the end of the second day of the World’s Best-Designed portion of the Best of Newspaper Design Competition we wondered what it was the judges were looking for specifically. So we asked them each: “What makes a World’s Best-Designed Newspaper?”
It’s fascinating to hear how these folks are making their judgments. The deep level of thought and the care they are taking with this process is fairly stunning, as is the bar they are setting between very good and being the best. Thanks to all four judges for sharing their perspectives. It’s quite instructive.
