  • I absolutely agree with the judges! Great work, folks! And a nice concept of argumentation. This goes out to all the folks, who helped this competition to happen. Thank you.

  • 23 out of 27 general judges are from USA. That explains lots of things… Anyway, the four best designed are really great ones, congratulations!

  • Hans,

I count one more, so 5 out of 27.

That’s almost directly proportional to the membership of North American to non-North Americans in SND.

And the ratio of entries probably falls along those lines as well.

  • Just one remark: Expresso is weekly, not daily.

Anyway, they look like good choices

  • Thanks to all for your comments.

Please note that SND’s judges cannot honor newspapers for great design if the designers don’t submit entries.

SND mails the call for entries to every newspaper we have in our worldwide database and we post it online in multiple languages.

Yet we had only one entry from India this year, for example. If anyone can suggest ways to increase entries from outside the United States, please send them to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Send the names and contact information for possible judges, too!
